The kids' first slumber party!

On Friday, the Frye's volunteered to watch our kids and Greyson all night!  And notice, I did say "volunteered."  They are such an awesome family and I don't know anyone else who volunteers to watch 5 kids under 6 years old...but they love our kids so much so we jumped at the chance (feeling slightly guilty :)).  Matt and I then had an evening to ourselves.  We went to eat at Lucchese's (a yummy Italian restaurant).  There was a 30 min. wait...I can't remember the last time we actually waited at a restaurant for 30 min. :)  Then we came home, turned up the TV, and played a little Rock Band, taking turns on guitar and vocals.  My wonderful husband even DVR'd the Purdue basketball game so we could spend time doing some things together. ;)  I then fell asleep while Matt watched the game.  In the morning, I got up and made cinammon rolls!  Then we got caught up on a few tv shows we had DVR'd and went to pick up the kiddos.
It sounds like they had a great time too.  They played outside with bubbles, used play-doh, ate supper (well Landon sort of ate :)), watched some of a movie, and went to bed without much of a fuss.  We did accidentally, well I should say "I accidentally", didn't check the diaper bag too closely because we only sent 1 diaper a piece for the kiddos.  So poor Emmy had a pretty full diaper by the time we picked her up the next morning.  Oops! :)
Thank you so much to Amos and Jess who I'm sure had a crazy night and Grace and Tyler who shared their rooms with their friends!
