Successful Week!

We have lots of things to be joyful about this past week! :)

1. Landon has started sleeping through the night! And it's been awesome!! (Of course, as I write this, he actually woke up at 3 am last night, but the few nights before then he slept 6, 7, or even 8 hours at night!) Praise God for that. I just hope it will continue! :)

2. I am feeling better thanks to Sea Bands, which are wrist bands you wear to help with nausea (usually on a cruise!) :) But I wear them all day and they seem to help! Woohoo!

3. Matt and I finally had our Date Night for my birthday on Saturday. The Hahns watched Landon and we went to Hana Yori's, which was soooo delicious, especially the yellow egg sauce for the shrimp! :) And I didn't even feel nauseaus from the strong smells there.

4. We got our Christmas card pictures taken and Landon was such a champ. We took about 30 pictures before he got fussy so hopefully we'll be able to pick out a good one!

5. And of course, I must end with some pictures of Landon, since he is too cute!! :)

Random info...

Alright, since most of you know, I thought I might as well post that we will be adding another joyous bundle to our household at the end of May since I'm pregnant!! This way I can write post after post about how horrible I feel...just kidding :). Although being a new mother has not been anything like I thought it would be, since I'm a new mother and have "morning" sickness at the same time! :) But I'm sure it will pass and it will be even more fun spending time with Landon when I feel better. I was doing really well this past week until...

Date Night. Matt wanted to take me out for my birthday (which was Oct. 26th) but I hadn't really felt well to go out to eat. So Saturday we planned a baby-sitter for Landon and we were going to Hana Yori's for dinner, which is a fabulous restaurant where they cook the food in front of you and it is sooo delicious. Well, I was getting ready to go, Matt was mostly ready and Landon was at the Bergers and all the sudden I felt dizzy so I went to sit down and seconds later...I was throwing up. What?!?! First of all, I had never thrown up at night before and second of all, Matt and I had not been out to eat since Landon's been born. So needless to say, I got my pjs on and fell asleep at 9:30! Yeah...what a terrific date!! :) So I guess we will reschedule at another time!

Adoption News We got a letter from our attorney stating that Landon's finalization will be on Dec. 30 in Indy. So we have to drive down there with him meet with a judge and we will officially be Landon's mom and dad!! :)

Pictures Of course I couldn't end this forever long post without a few pics of the baby! :) Enjoy!

My Halloween costumes...

...are way too big. But I guess my mommy and daddy REALLY like Halloween because they made me wear them anyway! :) I did not enjoy being dressed up like Yoda or a chilli pepper...but I do look pretty cute anyway! :)

I also had a lion and pirate "princess" visit me this weekend. But don't worry, they weren't too scary!
And for those of you that give up, mommy was a light bulb for Halloween (not near as cute as me!!)
