Happy 8th Birthday, Landon!

I feel like I just wrote one of these posts for Landon...but I guess it was a year ago already!  Landon is such a fun kid.  He is smart, sensitive, sweet, and thoughtful.  He also gets his feelings hurt easily (and shows it!) and does not always listen the first, second, or sixth :) time.  But we love him to pieces!  

He wanted a Bears football birthday this year.  We decided to have 2 separate parties (one for friends and one for family) so the family could spend more time with the birthday boy.  It worked out great.  Saturday afternoon, we celebrated with Landon's friends.

 Drew, Kyler, and Greyson came over for cupcakes, ice cream, present opening, and of course FOOTBALL!  It was pretty rainy the night before, but the sun came out in time for the boys to go outside and play.

 Matt mowed lines in the grass for the boys to use as yard lines.  I think they all had a good time (and it was a super easy party to host!)

 Then on Sunday, Landon's actual birthday, we had family over to help him celebrate.  He got to watch the Bears game in the afternoon (they finally won!!) and family came over in the evening for supper.  Landon chose brats, hot dogs, and mac and cheese for the meal.  Almost everyone came supporting the theme too!

 Landon was so grateful opening his presents. "WOW!  This is great!  This is just what I wanted!  I'm so happy for this!" etc.  What a sweet boy!

We had a wonderful time celebrating this fantastic boy!  Happy 8th year!  We hope it's a great one!
