Ok, so he doesn't really look like a sports star...but he may have the injury of one. We took Logan to the vet today because recently he has been limping and not really using his back right leg. It's been probably about a month since we've noticed, but he doesn't whine or whimper when we touch his leg and he was still running around and playing on the leg. But, apparently the vet thinks he may have torn his ACL! So, poor Logan is on medicine for the next two weeks and if that doesn't help, then he may have to have surgery on his leg. The bad part about it is that because he is using his other leg to support himself on, a lot of times that leg tears too because of the added weight. So Logan has to be on a restricted diet and exercise so he doesn't injure himself more! :) I'll try to keep everyone updated on the process for the poor guy!Saturday, February 16, 2008

Poor guy!!! That is tough. Not that I would know personally, but you know it takes a lot of football players off the field :) Take care of him!! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI was trying to think back to when he was sweeping around the right end fighting for the 1st down or even the touchdown...but i just cant remember when the injury might have occured.

oh poor logan! i can't believe he isn't whimpering or anything. hopefully he gets better soon and doesn't have to have surgery! :)
ReplyDeletelove love love the new layout!!! how fun!!! okay, and seriously, this has to be the saddest, but funniest post i have seen in a while :). i will definitely keep logan and you all in my prayers as i know how an injury not only affects a person, or dog in this case, but the entire family :). hope he is back on all fours soon :). ha! love ya lots...m.e.

ReplyDeleteAlso, I looked at your "where I've been" thing.... you've also been to New Mexico as that is where the Caverns we went to for the Carlsbad Caverns tours were. So add another to the group:) I'll try and keep moving around so you can add a few more states:)
