The date is set...
for Thursday at 6 AM!! Mary will be induced then if the baby has not come by Oct. 2. We have decided to head that way tomorrow. We're tired of waiting around here and trying to work and make plans every day is getting draining. Not to mention all the well meaning people who constantly ask us about the baby! :) So I think the plan is to get up tomorrow and drive 6-7 hours. End up wherever we do and then Wednesday, drive the rest of the way. Then we can be rested for Thursday morning and we don't have to rush around to get there. It's getting sooo exciting and at the same time seems like it's still a LONG way away! :) Just wanted to give a quick update. You'll hopefully be getting a call soon about the baby's birth!! Love you all!

we are soooo excited for you!! all your waiting is paying off and tomorrow when you head out as two you will be coming home as three in a short week or so. :) we can't wait to meet him!!! we will be praying for your safety and for the birth. i hope it's fast for you so you can hold him soon! love ya both!!

ReplyDeletei am so glad you two are taking off tomorrow. you will be able to rest up (possibly :), but just share the excitement with each other as you make your way down to meet your little boy! you get to hold him soon!!! he sure is in for a treat, meeting two people so full of love and completely anxious to see him. we all are wrapping you all in prayer and love!!! love ya lots..m.e.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you will get to be there when he is born. He will start to know you as his mommy as soon as you hold him the first time. It is amazing the awareness such a little one can have after just a few hours on the outside!
ReplyDeleteThings to remember: get sleep while you can (you will run on adrenaline at first but let yourself rest even in the middle of the day), take extra camera batteries/charger or the like, and call the Bergers :)
