It feels SOOO great to be home. I could hardly wait to open the door and walk in! :) You really appreciate a house when you're stuck in a hotel room with a newborn for a week!! Overall, things did move rather quickly, paperwork-wise. They told us to expect 7-10 business days and it only took 5, so I am thankful that we got to leave as soon as we did.
Mary did really well with us leaving, we went and visited her on our last day in Virginia and she took us on a back stage tour of the presidential helicopters. It was really neat and we were thankful that she set it up for us.
Last night after we got home, Landon got a bath (which he doesn't mind....so far!)
and the grandparents came over to meet their grandson (except Todd who is on a business trip :( ). They could hardly wait to come over and it was wonderful to see them FINALLY meet Landon.
I had to include a picture of the new aunt and uncle as well! :)
We've taken about 100 pictures of the little guy (and he's barely a week old), so I tried to narrow it down for my post! :)
